Pete is a CMC registered and fully qualified Civil, Commercial and Workplace Mediator who believes in engaging with people to help them find the best possible solutions to whatever issues they have.

With over 30 years of experience in industry, Pete has operated at a senior level in a number of blue-chip organisations including Rolls-Royce, British Steel, Corus and Northern Foods.
Pete is a ‘Fellow’ of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and holds other qualifications which include a Masters Degree (MSc), a distinction in Employment Law, a NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification, and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.

Pete attributes his natural ability to engage with people at all levels as having many years of learning through ‘the University of Life’, having left school to start work at 16 years of age. In any one day he can be working with Trade Union Representatives, employees on a shop floor, Senior Corporate Executives or Lawyers – it’s working with such a variety of people and backgrounds that gives him the buzz that he gets from his work.

Pete’s experience in mediation, negotiation and consultation runs deep and wide, having successfully helped parties reach solutions ranging from disputes between individual employees at work, through to large national pay negotiations with multiple Trade Unions. Pete has also successfully facilitated the resolution of formal industrial action on a number of occasions.
